DEMO2023 Extended Realities | ONX Studio
From June 20-25, 2023 the Extended Realities Showcase at ONX Studio featured performances, digital artworks, live motion capture-enabled performances, immersive sound experiences, game worlds, and virtual reality films. Antariksha Studio presented a single-video channel installation, Elsewhere in India, along with a video game demo, Antariksha Sanchar: Episode 0.
Elsewhere in India
Elsewhere in India depicts machinima-style vignettes exploring future urbanity, culture, and technology in South Asia. By combining immersive game worlds, archival footage, motion capture, animation, and generative art, Antariksha Studio remixes classical and emergent elements. The soundtrack, which features instruments such as the parai and dilruba, was recorded by electronic music composer Murthovic alongside an ensemble of orchestral, tribal, and folk musicians.
Antariksha Sanchar: Episode 0
In our point-and-click adventure game demo, Antariksha Sanchar: Episode 0, protagonists journey across South India and outer space on an aircraft powered by art, music, and dance; players can solve automaton puzzles and interact with dynamic avatars in this vertical slice, built in Unity.
